The New Home Buying Process
It can be confusing to know where to start if you are new to building a home, so we have outlined our process below.
- Create a preliminary floor plan, designed with budget and initial information gathered at a meeting.
- Enter into Home Design Agreement.
- Create a "must have" list with us that you home build will include and start the drafting process.
- Review preliminary drawings and ensure preferred design and budget have been respected.
- Approve final revision of the home design. At this time, you will own your blueprints.
- Enter into construction agreement contract.
- Schedule meetings with designers, Cabinetry designer, Flooring showroom, Plumbing showroom, and lighting showroom.
- Proceed with the construction of your MER-CON built home!
